Happy July 4th

I am watching the cats. They are too funny. They are enthralled by the air pump blowing up the tube we bought on the coast last year. Time for the pool season, it is pretty darn hot outside in case you have not heard that a thousand time today already.

I will be house manager at the theatre a few times in July, they also need me to continue to serve as concessionaire. Fine, I still like working there.

The Yankees are not playing very good and I beleive they will miss the playoffs this season. On the bright side, we are going to catch a Durham Bulls game against the Columbus Clippers this weekend. I am looking forward to that very much.

Also on tap for the weekend is a festival at the Eno River. I don't know what to expect there, but something tells me there is a chance of fireworks.
