Back to the Grind

Lisa's parents get in town tomorrow, so I'll be headed back to work this Friday. I wish I could take off several months, but someone has to pay the bills around here. It's been great being able to be home with Lisa and the baby. The midwife told us during labor that I would make a "worrisome dad" and I think that her suspicions were correct!

Sonya eats a lot and sleeps a lot (which means ditto for Lisa too). The details of in between mostly feature bodily functions are not worth recounting. The cats almost entirely ignore the baby with an occasional glance from a respectful distance. I think she is too loud for them, but they do not entirely avoid the room she is in either so it really seems to not bother nor intrigue them in the least.
