More of Lisa's Friends
This past weekend one of Lisa's friends from grad school got married at the Duke Gardens. Several classmates came back to town to attend and five of them slept over at our house. The house did not feel crowded at all.
I am always struck by how much I enjoy spending time with this group. I appreciate how genuinely nice they are. There is no pretense, just joie de vivre. It makes everyone relaxed with one another and time therefore seems to go too quickly.
In fact, I really regret that we cannot attend the next wedding in New Orleans this coming weekend (Lisa has a required work trip, leaving me with Sonya). I hope I make a group of friends so great that Lisa wishes she could spend more time with them.
