Roger's empty letter

Courtesy of the Roger Clemens website:

At first glance I was surprised "the Rocket" made any public release in this manner and focused on the words "false accusations should not be allowed to determine another person's life." That makes perfect sense. Unfortunately this public letter does not state he never used steroids or human growth hormone.

The letter opens with a thank you paragraph, moves into an empty paragraph about talent that never mentions baseball or if the talent was all-natural, then closes with a paragraph opining that steroids are bad and there should be more extensive testing. There is so little there I wonder why the effort was made to post this letter at all.
