Bicycle

As an early birthday present Lisa bought me a bicycle. Actually I picked it out and paid for it, but we're calling it my birthday present. She drove it home from the bicycle store the other day and the three of us spent quite an entertaining time "biking" around the neighborhood. Lisa pushing Sonya on her tike trike and me trying to go as slow as possible.

The bike itself is a "comfort bike", complete with grandmother's bicycle seat, shocks, and molded grips on the handlebar. It is a really smooth ride. Hopefully I will soon be able to really test it out and get beyond the first gear. It was really a lot of fun to "ride" together with Sonya but I am looking to actually peddle next time. Lisa on the other had already purchased a trailer for Sonya to sit in - here I am thinking I can get away from the kid for a little while and Lisa found a way get both Sonya and I out of the house and away from her.
