Electronics Filing

After a few recent purchases I became motivated to sort through the pile of wires and cables in the closet - for things like the computer, printer, camera, etc. I thought about how to organize them neatly. The solution we came up with is to place items in ziploc bags and write their purpose on the bag, then put the bags in a shoe box and note on the outside the general contents.

So far it seems like a good system. I would not be surprised if there are better systems out there, if you know of any please let me know.
