Heartbeat

With Lisa pregnant her illness this week was handled very cautiously. We went to the doctor on Tuesday and left without anything other than reassurances. However, we got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was found quickly and pounded loudly. It's amazing how something so little can instantly mean so much. It's hard to relate to the unseen and now I have an audible memory to associate with the little one. It has been tough with Lisa sick, but I am glad to have heard the new baby's heartbeat.
