On Cell Phones

When Lisa was pregnant I received a call from her. She had lost her cellphone and wanted me to call it so she could hear it ring. I slowly walked her through the realization that she could simply use the house phone to call the cellphone herself without involving me.

This morning I received a similar call. She asked me to call her cellphone because she thought her voicemail message was not working. I walked her through the realization that she could simply use the house phone to call the cellphone without involving me.

Seconds later the phone rang, "I'm sorry, I called the wrong number!"
