Unwanted Email Account

I have a new addition to my many email addresses, an unsolicited email address offered by MySpace. Ironically, no one can access MySpace without already having an email address - you literally cannot create an account without using an email address. If the aim was to compete with Facebook messages, then they failed. I will not begin using a new email address just because it is made available to me - I already have too many email addresses!

The silly email address offer email made me wonder about my account on MySpace:

• last comment by a friend = February 14, 2008
• last comment to a friend = October 27, 2008
• last blog post by the person that was the only reason I had an account = September 30, 2008

Safe to say I, like millions of others, no longer use MySpace at all. The unnecessary, duplicitous email account will not change that.
