Two Tons of Rock

We decided to replace the stones in our yard, from a single ring of tiny stones that did nothing to stop the encroachment of vegetation, to a small stone wall. After a relatively quick trip to the aptly named The Rock Shop, we ordered two pallets of rocks. Each weighs about a ton so we purchased two tons in total. Our selection was "chocolate grey veneer" stones. We anticipated a long process to prepare the area and lay the stones, but within a week the entire project is done. We have some stones leftover to deal with, but our plans executed to our satisfaction.
