Strike Three

OK, tomorrow is the Super Bowl and I could care less. I am a diehard Yankees fan and my interest in football amounts to two things; an excuse to enjoy fatty foods and fantasy football. Give me baseball any day of the week and I would be happy. I love the lack of a clock and the fact that no matter what the circumstance, the game is never out of reach for the losing team. I played quite a lot of baseball over the years and comebacks were frequent.

Lisa is going to take me to see one of her projects at UNC tomorrow. Afterward I think we'll be consuming thousands of calories an hour at her friends' place. Interesting consumer-driven phenomenon... I actively dislike both teams playing, but I would prefer that New England lose. If they could both lose I would be happier, but that's not possible, so I'll look for the silver lining: at least one will lose.
