Updates

Folks left Monday morning. It was a mixed visit. They sound like they dread returning to NY. If that is the case, I don't pity them for imposing it upon themselves. If that is not the case, I don't find it entertaining to talk about. Either case it grew weary.

We're having another contractor at work Tuesday and I am looking forward to finding out their abilities. Others cared more about things like who she is and where she will sit. I could care less. I just want to know what she will bring to the table and if we will be replacing her soon or not.

We can smell Spring in the air. It is not in full swing, we're still waiting for the March lamb to nestle in for good.

My night job has a contest for work improvement ideas. I am going to give them more than they bargained for. The form appears meant for one idea. I will be submitting almost a dozen. No joke; one will be to promote me into a managerial position there.

I have had a goatee since Christmas vacation. I keep wanting to shave it off. Lisa likes it, so I don't. I don't think I can grow a full beard yet, blame my heritage for the bald spots on my jawline, so this should be the most facial hair I can ever muster. I bet once the heat turns on weather-wise I will find it bothersome - and consequently, short-lived.
