My Two Bosses and Me

Growing up I used to consciously take what I thought were the best aspects of each of my parents and try to incorporate that into myself. As an adult I find myself repeating this behavior with my two bosses at my two jobs. I doubt that makes much sense, but it does to me.

I like to think that this is also a reason why my exposure to several different work environments in several cities in a couple different states in different regions of the nation in different industries is actually a huge asset. Coming into the workplace I draw upon these realms of influence to help fashion a perspective on a given scenario.

I guess I don't have to explain that to the readers of this blog, I have to explain that to interviewers. I am confident in my abilities, just unsure of how to best communicate them to people who have not witnessed them firsthand. I would like to think that any former managers, co-workers, or employers would love to have my services back if they could. It would be great if I had the ability to channel the ability of The Apprentice's Randal and ask my former co-workers to stand up behind me if they endorsed me over my competition. Kind of like those silly Verizon advertisements about the "network" always being with your cellphone wherever you go.
