Lost
A buddy loaned me the first season of this TV show called Lost. So I watched each episode in rapid succession. And now I am hooked.
But I hate this show.
Somewhere along the way elements warped from interpersonal dynamics into something out of X-files. But I keep watching because the mystique and unknowns draw me in. Enough to keep my imagination flowing and just a taste of character development. I actually detest the techniques used by the program, especially flashback sequences, but I keep watching.
So I love this show.
Few television programs keep me interested longer than their one sentence punchlines. Few even try to tell a real story, let alone something out of the normal mainstream programming. And the online support is unfathomably impressive. Blogs, messageboards, clips, maps, official and unofficial. Quite remarkable.
