Updates

Lisa is very pregnant. She has fitful sleep and therefore I get no sleep. Someone told me this final month is supposed to prepare us for the new "sleep" schedule. We'll have to see about that.

We have three weeks yet until we move. We're starting to get things packed away for the transition. Notable exceptions, of course, are the baby's crib and changing table. I put them together a week or so ago. We've also got a complete set of drawers full of baby clothing together.

Work has been a little hectic for me. I basically moved into a position with a lot left on the plate for me to do and a lot due yesterday. Somehow, people expect me to perform without any training and outperform others while I am at it too. A co-worker took to calling me Jack Bauer from the Fox TV show 24. How can anyone live up to those expectations?

Lisa and I have had some lunches together, which is nice because it gets me away from work and gets us together. Things are generally very good, but these next 5-6 weeks should be very hurried and I expect them to blur together as we get heavily involved in the baby.
