8 hours
Over the past two months it certainly felt like an experiment in sleep deprivation. While not as bad as Randy Gardner, it did affect me - some days much more than others. It now looks like Sonya is able to go down to bed for many hours at a time in the evening. Lisa says that it's eight and I'll take her word for it, because by that point in the morning I have a pillow over my head and am a little hard of hearing. I'm struggling to adapt to this new reality, struggling trying to put myself down to bed at a reasonable time instead of remaining alert until 2 AM, ready to change diapers, find pacifiers, and generally stand guard. I hope that this is a short transition into the fable of a full night of sleep, the distant memory I no longer recall as a real experience.
Thanks Sonya!
Thanks Sonya!
