MP3 player

We're talking about getting one of these fancy MP3 players, i.e. iPod. It feels like it will be a very long time before we actually settle into one that we can enjoy for a reasonable price. I'd like a large memory cache so I can dump in hundreds of songs for my facsimile radio station to listen to at work. The price for those sorts are just too steep. Lisa also thinks we should hang tight for the next generation of players - similar to how the same price for our external hard drive could have afford us an external drive with 2.5 times the memory only one year later. Hopefully the new developments are not the multi-functional crazy sort - I just want my music. I'm not interested in anything fancy and cute, I'd take a black box with three buttons if that's the most economical option. So, it might be 2008 before we pony up the cash for a good MP3 player.
