Tinker Time

I adjusted a latch on a door near our kitchen so that it opens and closes without hitching. For whatever reason, this is the most satisfied I have felt with house repairs in a long time. Those few minutes on such a small project made me feel proud... It's a silly little thing no one will ever notice. Maybe there's something about that, the fact that we're able to attack just minor details. Or that it required a minor adjustment but yielded a function we'll use routinely.
