Baby Party
This past weekend we hosted a small party for some friends, basically three couple with children and another couple as well. The kids all wore costumes. How is a party for toddlers (7 months to 18 monthes) different?
It started at 3PM, just after everyone's nap time. It ended around 5:30, just before dinnertime. The kids all wore costumes, but just long enough to get a few staged pictures together on the couch. They spent most of their time squabbling over toys, mostly because Sonya did not know why other children were playing with her favorites. The adults spent most of the time talking about the children. It was fun, brief, and a little exhausting.
