ND Hockey

Notre Dame finished 11th in the final Men's Ice Hockey RPI Rankings.

Over the last 60 years the NCAA Men's Hockey Champions have usually been teams from Michigan (19 of 60 times ~ 1 out of every 3).

But in 2008 Notre Dame defeated both 2nd ranked Michigan and 7th ranked Michigan State en route to putting themselves in the championship (in addition to 5th ranked New Hampshire).

April 12th the Irish take on Boston College, who lost the champsionship two years running. I hope they extend the streak to three years - Go Irish!

Well they made a great run, even if they did not become champions.
