Birthday Gifts
The two best birthday gifts I got this year were perhaps the two best presents I have received in a long time.
I woke up on my birthday to Lisa cheering in the bathroom. Sonya went on the potty, which is thrilling to all of us. Since then she has responded positively to being asked if she needs to go and called attention to her need to go. This is amazing. We all hope this continues to develop.
After arriving home from work Lisa surprised me with a new handheld music device called a Zune (made my Microsoft). I uploaded a few hundred songs from my collection and have used it every day since I opened the package. She also have me a "Speaker Dock", which allows me to plug in the Zune and play it through speakers. It also has a radio and charges the Zune.

One girl took her first steps, one boy announced his need to go to the bathroom, which apparently never happened before, and another kid's first tooth broke through. Go figure...
