Don't Call It A Bath

It would be an exaggeration to say that we hose down our daughter in the backyard instead of giving her a bath, but only slightly.

Sonya hates taking a bath. We think it is the fear of getting her thick hair wet and/or getting soap in her eyes. However, we recently discovered that she really enjoys diving into the kiddy pool on the back porch. We turn on the hose and strip her down, add some soap for playful bubbles, and strip Sonya down for a backyard wash.

I frequently ask her if she would rather take a bath and she vehemently tells me "NO" - so this will have to do for the time being.
