He is mobile

Dylan crawled for the first time this week. He's moved around before but it was more akin to watching flowers grow: you had to look away for a while to realize he had moved. Monday morning after work I sat in a chair across the room and he made a deliberate crawl to me from his play mat. It was slow progress but continuous so I am calling that his first real crawl.

Since then he has been much more intentional with his movement and of course more successful too.This ends the bliss of sitting down to watch television or read a book with Dylan sitting or laying in a confined area. It was fun while it lasted. Now we enter the metabolism challenging days of safeguarding the baby and everything at his level from each other.
