Bad Mommy

My daughter loves when I chase her around the house. Sometimes we roleplay being whatever characters she happens to find exciting that particular day. She stumped me when she told me to be "Bad Mommy." Lisa was on the couch nearby and I was directed to be the bad one not that Mommy. I quickly thought back through the events of the days prior and remembered some Scooby Doo episodes in the mix and teased out that what my lovely daughter heard as "Mommy" was a mummy. She probably never saw one before and the mummy must have made a great impression upon her. Not as stark as the impression she made telling me to be the horrible monster "Bad Mommy" - quite amusing!
