T-Ball Fun

Sonya started Tee ball. I was surprised at her interest, given how quickly stopped soccer last summer. I bought her a bat and ball, and a Tee so she could practice. Since all I worked with her on was hitting, she struggled with all other facets of the game. Her skills are already in the hearty middle of the pack (basically, one child plays well and the rest are learning the game). She fit in fine, even though she does not know anyone else on the team, was the only girl on the field and wore a pink glove and hat. I look forward to seeing her progress. She seems genuinely interested in sticking with the sport. I felt a giant smile on my face when she took her first at bat and delivered a solid hit. I enjoy watching her play, I enjoy practicing with her, and I hope this will be a great year of tee ball.
