DRACO virus protection
Scientists at MIT created a way to kill cells that have a virus signal, effectively eliminating the virus infections in the body. MIT senior staff scientist Dr. Todd Rider said:
One worry I had was since the method is to kill living cells, what happens when the virus is diffuse and most cells are infected? Would that kill the patient? What if DRACO targets on a signal certain people naturally possess without a virus present? How would mutation impact efficacy? I hope we do not have to wait too many years to find out.
"DRACO has the potential to revolutionize the treatment and prevention of virtually all viral diseases, including everything from the common cold to Ebola."DRACO has the potential to alter modern medicine in a way not seen since antibacterial soap, this should be front page news.
